When Indivior de-merged from the global health brand giant Reckitt in 2014, many were unaware of the looming opioid crisis in the United States. Opioid overdoses and abuse were drastically rising at an unsustainable pace, especially in places such as West Virginia and New Jersey. However, Indivior was well aware of it and knew that they could do far more good than simply remaining a division within the larger organization.

After receiving disappointing work from one of the world’s most famous agencies that did not elevate the brand's value, the Global Marketing and Public Affairs executive found KARV online and reached out exclusively to us. With aligned visions and missions, KARV engaged in a global rebranding effort for the new entity that was set to go live on the London Stock Exchange by the end of the year.

KARV helped Indivior understand and articulate its corporate narrative while it was creating its narrative. The tagline, “Focus On You,” embodied the genuine desire the company had to help patients on their journey from opioid dependent, misunderstood, and chastized to feeling normal, accepted, and on their way to a more meaningful life. KARV developed a powerful brand identity, a website in over 30 languages, and countless touch points for the brand launch externally and internally. And when the new brand went live on the London Stock Exchange, stock prices doubled within the first year.

In 2023, Indivior went live on the Nasdaq and celebrated the lives they had changed with actual patients being present at the bell ringing.
